Street style in Milan is some of the best around. The people dress so effortlessly elegant, it’s like it’s ingrained in their daily routine to step out of bed into the something fabulous. As you can imagine, photographing street style in Milano is a lot of fun, I had a perfect few September days in the city heading to some of the shows (photos in this post are from Ermanno Scervino) and shooting with bloggers. I was also lucky enough to attend Vogue China’s 10 year celebration party where I had the honour of meeting one of my photography idols, Mario Testino *celebratory dance*!
As I slowly trawl through the backlog of pictures from my trip, today you can have a glimpse of the Italians taking on fashion week this season. Bold prints, sport chic, deconstructed tailoring and block colours were some of the themes that seemed to be on repeat. And with the warm weather, the style seemed to be more like a farewell to summer, rather than a hello to autumn. Shame it’s not quite like that over here in London – time to get the woolly scarves out!
