BLOG SHOOT: What Sundays Are For

London Lifestyle & Photography Blog

Fashion week this year was full of surprises – stunning shows, crazy schedules and of course, lovely new faces. One such new face I got the chance to meet and shoot was sweet Mary, from blog What Sundays Are For, who was visiting all the way from tropical Florida! Since she was only in town a few days, I had to take her to shoot at some of the most iconic spots in London, starting with none other than our magnificent St Paul’s cathedral.

What I love about St Paul’s is that no matter who I shoot, the images always seem to evoke a different vibe to the atmosphere. It is just such a serene monument in the city that seems to have a little place for everyone. I loved Mary’s choice of outfit as well, perfectly complimenting the surreal entrance. Incidentally she had come to London after a few days in Spain, and went mad at the spanish Zara prices, so the whole outfit is Zara in case any of you fancy hunting down that gorgeous skirt and black ballerinas 🙂

If you haven’t had the chance to visit London’s cathedral, get it high up on your list. My little tip would be to take a picnic on a sunny day and sit in the beautiful gardens where you can enjoy your little basket of joy on the backdrop of one of our city’s beautiful icons…

I walk past St Paul’s every day and have honestly missed these gorgeous black and white tiles – just goes to show how busy London is, we rarely stop to take it all in.

    Love your green skirt. xx

That green skirt is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I am 99%sure I will never be able to find it in Zara here, but that doesn’t mean I won’t give it a good go! I love how you’ve used so much light in these pictures, and the strong brick and solid wooden doors contrasts so well with the softer, feminine pussybow blouse and pleated skirt. Gorgeous.
