I love finding new and beautiful corners of our city. Discovering places that inspire me is the best feeling, especially when you have a hectic lifestyle. Sometimes you need that spark to give you the idea you were looking for or, in my case, to act as the backdrop for those photographs you had in your mind.
I recently spent the afternoon at the Hampstead Pergola shooting a beautiful project I hope to share with you very soon. It has to be one of my favourite spots in London that I’ve recently come across when searching for new spots to shoot in. Its infinite passages are peaceful, romantic and historic all at the same time, transporting you to another era. Spending the afternoon there gave me that same excited feeling as when I attended Eltham Palace with the White Company, it was that chance to step into another world and feel like you’re on a Victorian film set.
I wanted to share these photographs with you that I snapped in between the fashion we were shooting. Hope it inspires you to go visit once and have a moment of calm to yourself. You can sit with a book and listen to the birds sing, forgetting all your worries for a moment or two.
